“My Grandma Sue was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s several years ago. She was always laughing and lighting up the room. She was the life of the party and such a wonderful grandma. Now she doesn’t know who I am. Watching her slip away has been heart breaking and I want to help in any way I can. I hope that a cure can be found and help the millions who are stuggling through this disease or will one day develop it.”
– Jen Renshaw
I’ve been married to my wife Jen for almost 4 years now. I remember first meeting Grandma Sue when we were dating. She was lively, chipper, and just fun to be around. Since I have known here I have quickly seen the Alzheimer’s disease get worse and worse. This is truly an evil disease that needs more funds to research to find a cure as it affects 5 million Americans. Not only does the disease slowly take people’s lives it is also extremely difficult for family to care for their loved ones.
My wife’s goal is $1,000 and she has already raised about half of that. If reader’s of this blog could donate at least $5 this would help her reach her goal and raise funds for Alzheimer’s research.
